Appraisal is a skill Michio gained during the character creation stage which cost him 1 bonus point that allows him to view information about his target.

Appraisal is extremely useful as it can be used to identify almost anything. Michio uses it to discover basic information about items, people, and even demons. When used on people or demons the ff are displayed: their given name, age, gender, tribe, level, job, and equipment, if applicable. When used on items; their name, skills, and number of skill slots are displayed, if applicable.

- Some jobs have a skill similar to this, but their range is often limited to the area that they specialize in and may not give them the same amount of information that Appraisal provides.
- This skill gives information via an invisible screen, while others have to materialize an intelligence card.
